03-24-2004: Yes, we're still alive.

I wandered on over to Iowa City this past weekend to visit some friends. The original intention was to code like the wind on our NeverWinter Nights modules, but we didn't even touch them - we were too busy being lazy.

We did see Dawn Of The Dead with another friend of ours (it was Ellen's idea). I give that one two thumbs up. Much better than the original, but the original is such a classic. Good stuff. Coincidentally, one of the friends I was visiting this past weekend is actually making a zombie movie. No, I'm not shitting you.

Sounds like we're having a brewfest this coming weekend - another friend of mine in Ames homebrews, and it's been quite a while. So, after his ninety-three children get put to bed, we sit around and watch him brew, while enjoying the fruits of previous brewfests. Ahhhhh, let there be Imperial Stout or some Martian's Egg Ale. Wooooo...

03-10-2004: Alright, so it's been a little while. Actually, it's been a damned long time. Suck it up.

I've been busy as hell working on two other projects... One is a spam research project, and the other is a new module for NeverWinter Nights. Wheeeeee, I'm such a nerd.

The spam project is coming along nicely. I'm not a developer (well, take a look at this friggin' website!), so it's as much of a learning thing as a end-result thing. Even if nothing really comes of it, it's good design experience for me. I've learned an assload about databases, perl, and various other etc. And for me, learning is a mighty important thing.

Anyhoo, onwards and upwards and all that crap. I'll try to keep up with Stinkweasel, but bear with me. It's not lost, it's just slow.
